Apollo Creed decided that a cold, boring Thursday would be a darn good day to play hookey and screw around on wet, sloping, dangerously icy rocks at the top of Soco Falls. Soco Falls is super-cool double waterfall that has recently been outfitted with a nice set of rock steps that lead to a viewing deck that Apollo really appreciated.

Apollo likes the family-friendly Soco Falls.

After a few, Apollo really felt like a dorky tourist looking at Soco Falls just like all the other dorky tourists. Although a bunch of annoyingly-bright colored signs tried to deter him, Apollo couldn’t help but wonder how many unfortunate souls don’t get the chance to see this falls from the top. He figured that, for the victims’ sake he would go ahead and give it a whirl… after all, Apollo doesn’t really qualify for these lousy people rules.

See, the thing Apollo wants you to know about waterfalls is that they are not safe at the top. If the rocks at the top are wet, and you are on them, you are probably going to bust your ass. If the water is moving, which is usually the case, it can then carry you over the falls where you will most certainly be messed up bad.

This is where Apollo crossed the right-side creek of the falls.

That’s why its OK for Apollo to risk his ass and not you. If Apollo falls, someone will just go get him at the bottom. So don’t go to the top of waterfalls. Even more so when it’s cold and the rocks are icy. Definitely visit this waterfall, though. Apollo says so.

This is what you should never do.

Waterfalls are so dangerous, they can kill you until you die from it. Don't be a fool, read Apollo's waterfall safety tips.
