After checking out the beautiful sunset in nearby Mars Hill, Apollo had plenty left in the tank to spend a couple hours in The City that Sleeps. Marshall is the county seat of Madison County, and is quite the awesome little mountain town! An Apollo Guidebook definitely needs to be in the works for Marshall.

Apollo spent an hour clowning in the ATM Machine Machine video surveillance camera. They should enjoy that tape.

A couple of people walked by Apollo in Marshall, but they just nodded and walked just a bit faster on their way past.

Apollo gets jacked up when he finds cool towns like Marshall. This is the view looking across the French Broad River toward downtown.

What an odd town. It's so quiet at night from lack of activity, yet the rumbling from the river is both soothing and eerie at the same time.

Just when Apollo thought nobody would talk to him, he met a super cool lady that was happy to tell Apollo the history of the Bacchus Bistro.

Apollo can't wait to hit up Bacchus when they're open. From our research, no restaurant around holds a candle to Bacchus.

I wish I had known Apollo was visiting. I would have thrown a party.
Next time you are through, Apollo, visit us down at the French Broad Institute (but check this site for when we will be hosting our events)
