Apollo’s adventure to Juney Whank Falls was unfortunately like no other before it. On Sunday, as Apollo was hiking to Juney Whank Falls near Bryson City in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a fellow hiker collapsed and died of a what paramedics said was likely a massive heart attack.
Apollo has been very, very saddened by this incident, and wishes to convey all of his thoughts to this man’s family and loved ones. He looked like a very nice dude, and he was chuggin’ it up that hill, lemme tell ya. Apollo likes to think that just maybe, he picked the absolute finest, most perfect-weathered day so far this year to make a trip far more ambitious than Juney Whank Falls.
Apollo also decided that today was not so much the proper day for pictures. He’s posting one image of Juney Whank Falls, with hopes that many people will take a hike on this man’s behalf. He set out for a ‘damn good day’, and Apollo would sure love to see good day fulfilled by many.

Hey Jim. I like your tribute to Mr. Reed. I guess thru him, four strangers are forever connected, huh? Glad your pictures came out, haven’t yet looked at ours. I was encouraged and more at ease after speaking with his family and hope that you and Amy were too.
All the Best,
Jaime
