Road trip to Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia

Road trip to Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia

Here’s how it all started. Back last summer, we got a few friends together and took a trip to Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia for thrilling roller coasters and ice-cold Anhuser-Busch beverages. On the very last day of our trip, the girls of the group wanted to do some shopping at the outlet mall. Bored and ready for home, us guys of the group were relegated to the parking lot with nothing to do but cause trouble.

After an hour or two of making fun of a store named ‘Dooney & Bourke’, Tom decided KB Toy Store would be a great place to burn a little time. Little did he realize it would be the start of a fascinating journey for a toy. Apollo wasn’t out of his packaging for more than two minutes before the idea hit. Why not make a website that documents a bunch of awesome places, and helps people learn about things they never new existed.

Not long after Apollo got back home, he built a quick an easy website and hit the road running. Below you’ll find links to every single adventure so far. After a brief break from traveling, Apollo has retooled the website and is back on the prowl.
